Both Vis-a-Vis and teamKube APP from GSS had passed Apple’s strict scrutiny and put on shelves in the App store for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch to use.

In the “Cloud Innovative Applications of Excellence Award 2011”, GSS’ Vis-a-Vis won the excellent work award. (The winners in order were Chunghwa Telecom, Institute for Information Industry and Industrial Technology Research Institute). To be able to join with Chunghwa Telecom to launch Vis-a-Vis is a great affirmation for GSS.

Chunghwa Telecom and GSS worked together to launch the Vis-a-Vis Cloud Service for China cloud market, and held a grand press conference.

GSS was invited to participate in a Private cloud CAFÉ plan. CAFÉ(Cloud Appliance for Enterprise) was developed by the Institute for Information Industry III, based on the Opensource. It is a private cloud appliance, which integrated software and hardware manufacturers in Taiwan. In the plan, ASUS, Promise, and Gigabyte provide hardware equipments and combine with GSS’ own R&D enterprise software platform (such as Vitals/KM, teamKube) to form an appliance, which help enterprise to establish a private cloud environment at a reasonable price, thus further the establishment of a system for the clouds application.

Participated in the 2011 Taipei International Computer Show (Computex) GSS called for attention on cloud application and for the first exposure of the [Vis-a-Vis Call Report Management Cloud Service for SME]; GSS worked together with Chunghwa Telecom to launch Vis-à-vis on the 1st of July to formally introduce it to the clouds market; GSS provided to small and medium-sized enterprise employers more clouds applications, and driven substantial growth of their performance.

Obtained cloud extension project grants from the Small and Medium Enterprise Division SaaS GSS Innovative the model of cloud services, and counseling small and medium enterprises to import and use of cloud services, thus reduce enterprises’ hardware/software and personnel expenses, or their operating costs, in order to improve their competitiveness and speed up their upgrading transformation.

Komazwa University, Japan officially put Vitals/KM online As a result, this action enhance the competitiveness of the learning ability for their students; achieve teacher-student interaction through the platform; stringier data and get overwhelming response from external vendors; enrich school textbook knowledge base; and lower Japan’s unemployment rate.

2011 GSS Solution Day “Innovation and Efficiency Green Operation” seminar held on April 28. It puts forward seven main issues: New technology and architecture, Clouds application service, Optimization of Human capital, Organizations and resources optimization, Experience is the cornerstone for competitiveness; Information security starts from the basic, enterprise information management. The seminar invited many experts to give a speech such as Richard Chia-Tung Lee, honorary professor of Tsinghua University; Rong-Hua Zhu, deputy director of Chunghwa Telecom Laboratories and HAN-CHAO LI, director of the center for clouds service technology of Institute for Information Industry III.
